How do our rates compare to on-campus housing rates?
When comparing our rates to on-campus rates you must take into consideration many variables, including floor plan layout, square footage, furniture, utilities and community events. Our leasing staff is available to discuss with you how our rates compare to other housing options and validate that our community offers you the best value for your money, as well as a great location and incredible amenities.
Can additional furniture be brought into the apartment?
Additional furniture is more than welcome to be brought in, however due to storage constraints, we cannot remove furniture from furnished units.
Can I pay my bill with a credit card? Is there an extra charge?
Great news! We have a great feature that lets you pay online! View your balance, submit electronic checks or pay with a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover from any computer. You can even submit maintenance requests! Just log on to our website, click the “Pay Rent” link. This will take you to our resident rent pay portal. There is a small convenience charge for this service.
Do I have a meal plan?
Meal plans are not offered.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, we are now a pet friendly community! We charge a $250 non-refundable pet deposit fee and a $25 monthly pet rent. Permitted animals must weigh no more than 50 lbs. and aggressive breeds are not permitted.
How are roommates matched?
We have partnered with RoomSync to provide a modern matching platform where residents choose their own roommates. After you complete the leasing process you will be emailed a link to join our RoomSync network. You will then log in to RoomSync using Facebook, create a matching profile, and begin your search to find your new best friend - or roommate for starters. If you already have a roommate in mind, you can confirm your roommate request within RoomSync.
How are rooms assigned?
Residents who already have preferred roommates can confirm their roommate match requests using RoomSync, our roommate matching platform. If they do not already have a roommate, residents will search for and choose their own roommate using RoomSync. Residents will be able to communicate with each other during and after the selection process. In the event that potential roommates discover that they are no longer compatible, they can request a different roommate and we will do our best to accommodate any change request. To provide sufficient time and the greatest opportunity for residents to find the perfect roommate, they should apply and sign a lease as early as possible.

We are only 3 blocks from campus!
How many people live there?
We have 609 bedrooms in 326 apartments. These are split between the North Building and the South Building. The North Building has seven stories, and the South Building has eight stories.
If I am over 21 do I need a guarantor?
You have the option to qualify on your own, with a security deposit equal to 1.5 month's rent. Every lease has the option to have a Guarantor regardless of age.
If I pay in full, do I get a discount?
Roosevelt Point does not offer discounts for rent paid in full. However, prepayment gives you the peace of mind knowing that your account is in good standing at all times!
Is parking available?
Parking is available in Roosevelt Point’s parking garage for a monthly charge. All spaces are assigned to residents and the parking garage is gated and private. Each resident that rents a parking space will use their apartment’s front door access card to allow you access to the parking garage. The garage has direct access to the North Building.
What do I need to hook up my computer to the internet?
You will need a CAT 5 (Ethernet) cable. We have internet outlets in each bedroom and common area. Your computer must be configured properly for the internet to work. Your computer or device must be registered as an active device with our internet service provider. We also have community-wide WiFi.
What if I need to cancel my lease?
Leases are legal contracts for the said term. Residents are responsible for the entire term of the lease. We offer lease re-assignments for a $200 fee. Please see a leasing professional for further details.
What is the cost?

What size are the beds?
Our furnished units offer full-size extra-long Tempur-Pedic beds. We recommend queen size linens.
What types of leases are available?
We lease by the bedroom and by the unit at Roosevelt Point. When you lease by the bed, that means your monthly rent covers your bedroom only. The benefit of this is that you cannot be held responsible if your roommate does not pay or is late with his or her rent. We offer 5 month, 10 month, and 12 month leases.
What utilities are included in my rent?
Here is a list of what we provide: electricity, water, sewer, trash removal, internet in every bedroom and the living room (Ethernet & WiFi), digital cable with HBO in the living room and each bedroom. Electricity has a cap amount of $40 for studios and 1 bedrooms, $80 for two bedrooms, $90 for three bedrooms and $120 for four bedrooms.
When can I move in?
Our move in date is August 14th.
When is my first payment due?
Our first payment is due July 15th. There is no payment due in August, and the next payment due is September 1st.
Will you send me a bill each month for rent?
We do not send invoices for your Monthly Base Rent. Your copy of the lease serves as your bill.
Can I request different roommates?
We want you to be comfortable here, and we will do everything we can to accommodate your roommate requests.
What is a "renewal?"
Are you loving it here and can't imagine leaving at the end of your lease? By signing a renewal, you get to extend your stay at your community!
If I renew, do I have to move out then move back in?
When you renew and choose to stay in your current spot, no moving is required!
If I renew, will my guarantor have to sign again?
No. Your guarantor doesn't have to do anything extra!
I'm graduating in December, can I still renew?

I just moved in, is it too early to renew?
Renewing now will provide the most benefit to you. By signing early, you will secure your space for next year and take advantage of the best pricing available.
How do I renew?
We know how busy you are, so we have made the process as quick and easy as possible. Renewing is a easy as "1,2,3!" Just following these steps:
1. Open your renewal email from us.
2. Review the terms, and click "Accept"
3. Follow the prompts to sign the new lease agreement.
